This is Colette...

Meet Colette, your hostess who will do everything possible to ensure that you have a wonderful vacation. With «Fleurs de vie» she has made a life-long dream come true. A speech therapist for many years; she decided to settle in Savoy after training as a therapist and masseuse.

Having traveled throughout the world, it is not surprising that she speaks several languages including English, German, and a little Spanish. 

She is a people person and her knowledge of languages has already helped many tourists.

 

MOUTIERS AND SALINS-LES-THERMES...

Upon arrival from Albertville, you will soon realize that Moutiers is ideally located.  Moutiers (520m high) is at the gateway to the 3 Valleys: from St Martin de Belleville to Val Thorens, Courchevel, Méribel, and Pralognan La Vanoise too. 
Access to the Arcs' valley, La Plagne, Vald'Isère and Tignes is easy and quick.  Courchevel, the Vanoise National Park, the Beaufortain, and the Tarentaise, some of the most beautiful spots in the region are almost at your doorstep.

«Fleurs de vie» is ideally located with a southern exposure at 600m high, in the valley that leads to Méribel; Courchevel, Pralognan...

 

A TRIP TO COURCHEVEL...

This well known winter sports resort has much to offer in the summer too.  A short drive takes you from «Fleurs de vie» to Courchevel (almost 2000m high). 

At Lake Rosière, next to a botanical path and a small museum, there are many barbecue grills, benches, tables and restrooms. 

Pick up some firewood in the forest and enjoy your picnic.  If the weather should change suddenly, you will find shelter at the large covered central barbecue area. 

For the sports lover, several well-marked hiking trails start at the edges of the picnic grounds.  Everyone will find a trail to suit their abilities and inclinations. Mountain climbers can practice safely on the 2 «via ferrata». 

Wild, romantic nature, mountains, lakes, streams, waterfalls: a terrific setting for a wonderful family vacation.

 

A REAL  «TARTIFLETTE»...

Enjoy a meal fit for a king, a «tartiflette», on the terrace.  The ingredients, purchased fresh at the Moutiers' open-air market include: a good Reblochon or Tamié cheese, onions, potatoes and bacon. 

Vary the taste to suit yourself by adding different cheeses.  We have added a Savoy gruyère.  Baked in an oven set at medium, this dish is delicious. 

For starters: artichokes with a garlic cream sauce.  All served with a good crusty mountain bread and a bottle of Savoy Gamay red wine.
